Why application-only?

An elite camp — by design

This is not an open-registration event. The Canadian Elite Softball Camp is built for committed, competitive athletes, and roster spots are earned through application. With only 25 athletes accepted per age group, every group stays sharp, focused, and worthy of the instructors leading it. Not everyone will attend — and that's the point.

  • Direct, position-specific instruction from NCAA Division I athletes and college coaches
  • Small, competitive groups — capped at 25 athletes per age group
  • On-site coverage and interviews from Line Drive Media all week
  • An environment built for serious, driven players ready to be challenged

What athletes train

Position-specific tracks

Coaching is organized by position group so athletes go deep where it matters most.

Pitching

Mechanics, spin & movement, sequencing, and the competitive mindset of the circle.

Catching

Receiving & framing, blocking, pop times, throw-downs, and game leadership.

Infield — Corners

Footwork, glove work, quick hands, and decision-making at first and third.

Outfield

First-step explosiveness, route running, tracking, and throwing mechanics.

Hitting

Swing development, approach, plate discipline, and recruitable, repeatable contact.

Nutrition & Wellness

Fueling performance — a session on athlete nutrition, hydration, and recovery led by a certified nutritionist.

Weather

Rain policy

The camp runs rain or shine — here's how we handle the weather.

  • Sessions continue through light rain with modified, lower-risk activities.
  • If there is lightning or severe weather, play stops immediately and resumes 30 minutes after the last lightning or thunder, with athletes moved to shelter.
  • We make every effort to secure an indoor option to keep instruction going if the weather turns.
  • Camp fees are non-refundable, including for weather. If conditions force a stoppage, we adjust the schedule and make up instruction time where possible.
  • Weather updates are sent to registered families by email and posted to our social channels.
